Feisty Fawn!
I finally got Ubuntu installed. The LiveCD did not play well with my hard drive at first. A little kerjiggering and unplugging of key components later and I was a proud operator of a linux machine. Yee haw.
So why am I posting from XP? Because I just don’t have the right frakking drivers. So I’m going to start pulling cards and examining chipsets. Won’t that be fun?
Hopefully I can get the open source video-editing software to work easier than anything else in this process. I’m at the end of my rope here.
